Excel Codabar Add-In Size Setting

Excel Codabar Add-In Size Setting allows easy integration to set the size of Codabar Bar Width, Image Width and Bar Height and Image Height. You may adjust these properties during your generating Codabar procedure.

Excel Codabar Bar Width Setting - Minimum X

Excel Codabar Bar Width is the width of the generated Codabar narrow bar when using Excel Codabar Add-In. You may set the below properties to set minimum bar width(X):

1. Set the barcode type: CODABAR

2. Set the data: 1388053

3. Set the Bar Width: 3

4. Customize the other properties.

The generated Codabar image will be like this:



Excel Codabar Image Width Setting - Fixed W

Excel Codabar Image Width is the Width of the created Codabar image when using Codabar Excel Add-In. You may set the following properties to adjust a fixed image width(W):

1. Set the barcode type: CODABAR

2. Set the data: 1388053

3. Set the Image Width: 100

4. Customize the other properties.

The generated Codabar image will be like this:



Excel Codabar Bar Width & Image Width Setting

Codabar Excel Add-In allows setting the bar width and image width at the same time.

1. Set the barcode type: CODABAR

2. Set the data: 80538600

3. Set the Bar Width: 3

4. Set the Image Width: 80

5. Customize the other properties.

The generated Codabar image will be like this:



Note that Onbarcode Excel Codabar Generator will automatically generate a Codabar image with a minimum Image Width when a fixed X is set. In this case, there are two situations:

1. If you set a image width value, which is less than the minimum image width, the generated image width will be the minimum Image Width. When it occurs, see Excel Codabar Bar Width Setting - Minimum X and Excel Codabar Image Width Setting - Fixed W.

2. If you set a image width value, which is more than the minimum image width, Excel Add-in will fill the difference with left and right margins generated automatically.

Excel Codabar Bar Height Setting

The height of Codabar barcode image is made up by the width of the following five parts:

Top Margin

Bar Height

Text Margin

Text Height

Bottom Margin

The height of barcode image is difficult to make sure, because the height of the text differs when font size and style changed. Even though, the image height should be 5 mm or 15% of the image width.
