How to Generate ISBN Barcode in MS Excel
Activate the barcode generator by clicking "Add-Ins", and then switch to "Create Barcode" to go to the panel of "Barcode Settings" on the right side. Click the cell where you want to generate an ISBN barcode, and then select "ISBN" in the "Barcode Type" drop-down menu. When inputting required ISBN data in "Data" blank, click the "Generate" button, and an ISBN barcode is inserted.
How to Create ISBN Supplement Add-on Symbol for Excel
ISBN has two implement forms: ISBN+2 and ISBN+5. First, select "ISBN+2" or "ISBN+5" in "Barcode Type" pull-down menu, input valid ISBN data, then click "Generate", and you will get the add-on symbol with the default data "12" or "12345" encoded. Second, go to "1D Barcode" and input 2 digits data or 5 digits data in "Supplement data". Third, click the "Update" button, and now an ISBN with 2 or 5 digits add-on symbology is created in Excel to meet your requirements.
How to Customize ISBN on the Barcode Settings Panel
Click on the ISBN barcode to activate the "Barcode Settings" panel on the right side, and reset parameters in the "Barcode Size" and "1D Barcode" tab. When finished, click the "Update" button, and you'll get a new ISBN barcode image.
How to Insert ISBN Barcode List in Excel
The Excel Barcode Add-In also supports generating barcode lists and tables apart from a single ISBN image at a time. Choose a column or a row of cells with data, and select "ISBN". Then click "Generate" to successfully insert a barcode list or table.
How to Link ISBN Barcode to Cell on Excel
First click on a created ISBN barcode and then the "Link To Cell" button. Choose a cell with data, and click "Update" button (otherwise click "Cancel" button). The barcode will be linked to the data of the cell after these steps, and would change with the data. Linking multiple barcodes to cells is also available for our product.
